The Aiyana Philosophy
Starting conservatively, Building gradually and naturally, Avoiding overcorrection, Prioritizing skin health above all
Aesthetic care should enhance your features, not change them. Beginning aesthetic treatments should feel informed, not intimidating.
We guide first-time patients throughout their individual journeys with thoughtful, personalized plans designed to improve skin health gradually and naturally.
Your first visit is a consultation. Your commitment is only to simply show-up to the appointment and receive education. From there, it is always your choice on how to proceed.
During this time, we will:
✓ Assess your skin
✓ Understand your goals
✓ Create a phased, personalized plan
✓ Clearly explain what you do — and don’t — need
You will get a lot of forms before the appointment so that we may be best prepared for you and our time together.
A $250 fee is required to book and is non-refundable, but will be credited toward any treatment booked or retail booked during or after the consult. Depending on the day’s schedule, same-day treatment may be possible but is not guaranteed. Use this towards retail product purchases or treatment within 30 days.
If you’re unsure where to begin, consider this your starting point.
STEP 1
-
Before injectables. Before trends. We begin with your foundation.
Healthy skin responds better to every treatment that follows — and often, it’s where the most meaningful transformation begins. We can do a lot of the work for you, but your hands on time with your face far supersedes ours, so yes, your home care matters greatly. We know it can be overwhelming, so at your first appointment you get a little goodie bag of samplers for you to take home with instructions on how, because yes, order very much matters! No stress, no pressure, just customized education for YOUR skin.

Confused already? Book this one: The JoyFul Skin Glow
For most first-time patients, this is the ideal introduction to the world of aesthetics. Facials are not scary, quite relaxing, and if we are being fully honest, Joy (our Master Esthetician) is the best there ever has been! We have a variety of options that target your individual skin after we take a look at it and consult with you. The JoyfulSkin Glow provides the most comprehensive approach as it often will blend a little of each of our facial services. Yes, dermaplane is always included (as long as your skin allows). Simple, easy, approachable.
Benefits:
• Deep cleansing
• Gentle exfoliation
• Immediate, visible glow
• Improved product absorption
• No downtimeOur facials allow us to reset the skin while assessing your baseline texture, congestion, and overall barrier health.
STEP 2
-
If your goals include improvement in fine lines, acne scarring, enlarged pores, uneven texture, early skin laxity or anti-aging/prevention, we often recommend microneedling. Microneedling involves using tiny needles on a device to create controlled injury to the skin, stimulating our bodies own collagen building cascade. Ideally, we begin with a series of 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. This allows for a steady collagen production over 12-18 weeks to “jump start” results. Continued sessions are recommended quarterly and help to maintain results.
For many first-time patients, this is one of the most transformative treatments because it strengthens the skin itself, not just what sits on the surface. We will always endorse this treatment. There are many add-ons but our [Traditional Microneedling] is already the Cadillac of treatments.
STEP 3
-
If you’re beginning to notice:
• Forehead lines
• Frown lines
• Crow’s feetNeuromodulators (“tox”) may be introduced.
At Aiyana Atelier, we offer:
• Botox
• Dysport
• Jeuveau
• Xeomin
• DaxxifyFor first-time patients, we always begin conservatively but customized as YOUR muscles dictate YOUR movement and each muscle responds in a unique way that each of our providers have mastered. The goal is not to freeze your expression (unless you want that!) but to soften repetitive muscle movement so lines don’t deepen over time.
It's important to note that we never rush this step. Many patients begin with skin treatments alone, and there is nothing wrong with that!
What About Filler?
While some patients want this right away, filler is not always the first step, and often isn’t necessary early on.
While we offer Restylane, RHA, Juvederm, Radiesse, Versa and Evolysse, we recommend filler only when:
There is true structural volume loss
You could benefit from facial balancing
You fully understand long-term maintenance
For many patients in their 20s and early 30s, improving skin quality and softening expression lines creates more natural, impactful results than adding volume and allows for a more improved aging process.
What’s The Fuss About Biostimulators?
Biostimulators are different than traditional fillers in the sense that they trigger your body’s own natural collagen stimulating pathway. They create subtle volume in areas treated, and actually improve collagen in the skin as well (something traditional fillers cant do!).
You might be a good candidate for biostimulators (Sculptra/PRF/Radiesse) if:
You have panfacial volume and collagen loss (I’m looking at you, runners!)
You are starting to notice signs of aging skin
You desire softer, slower volume (think beautifully undetectable)
This is a great place to start to build a natural foundation without adding a ton of traditional HA filler.
Common First-Time Aesthetic Myths
If you’re new to aesthetics, hesitation is normal. Many concerns we hear stem from misinformation — or extremes/trends seen on social media.
Let’s clarify a few.
-
Preventative tox isn’t about freezing your face — it’s about softening repetitive muscle movement before lines become deeply etched.
When done conservatively, it preserves natural expression while supporting more graceful aging.
Many patients begin in their mid-to-late 20s, once lines start to linger at rest. The golden time that we tend to recommend is:
When your lines bother you
When the lines become persistent even with a relaxed face, or “etched” in
When your makeup (or your tan!) starts to crease into the wrinkles
-
Filler is never automatic — and never required.
We recommend it only when appropriate for structure or balance. Many patients never need it early on.
A thoughtful plan doesn’t create dependency — it creates intention. Your filler does not magically disappear at the end of a few months or even years. When placed well, filler has the ability to look wonderful and natural for years with very minimal upkeep.
-
Overdone results are not a requirement of aesthetic medicine — they are a choice.
Our approach prioritizes subtlety, proportion, and restraint.
You should look like yourself — just more rested, refined, and confident. If people can tell you’ve had work done, we consider that a red flag. You should be hearing things like “you look well rested” or “did you get a new lipliner” kind of thing.
-
Not necessarily.
The right treatment, at the right time, with the right provider will always outperform doing everything at once.
We build gradually, allowing your skin to respond in a way that feels natural and sustainable.
-
You don’t.
Your first visit is designed to bring clarity — not pressure.
We assess, educate, and create a plan.
You move forward only when it feels right
-
First, you may not need to. Not all filler needs dissolved. It may need dissolved if it is created a problem for you such as migration or lymphatic blockage or if you simply don’t like the appearance any longer. We do not believe in a ‘fresh start’ with everyone who has filler.
Second, our dissolving process does not hurt as much as you may have heard online. There is topical we can use and we also are able to inject some local into the area first. But even on the spicier side, it is less that a few seconds.
